(TSMC) on Friday said it plans to recruit about 9,000 new employees this year to cope with the company s growing business and technology development needs. TSMC said it was holding a campus job fair that day at National Taiwan University in Taipei, one of a series of similar events over the next few months. According to the world s largest contract chipmaker, job fairs will be held at nine other colleges in New Taipei, Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan, Yunlin and Kaohsiung until April and 3,000 students are expected to attend.
