Ghaziabad: In a major operation by a team of Vigilance department officials from Meerut, a junior engineer of the Ghaziabad Jal Nigam has been arrested for taking Rs 13 lakh bribe.
The accused has been identified as Vikram Singh, who lives in Ghaziabad. Jal Nigam had given a contract of Rs 3.6 cr to a contractor identified as Satish Kumar to remove silt from a water pipeline in Muradnagar to Delhi.
Agriculture Hub launches its Incubation program; inks Mou with two Agritech Startups
Hyderabad, Mar 8 (UNI) : AgHub, the Innovation Hub at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) on Monday announced the launching of its incubation program in line with its focus of creating agri-innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem across the State of Telangana and country. As part of the launch, AgHub entered into MoUs with two startups ETGarage and Terracent Materials in the presence of AgHub Chairperson and PJTSAU Vice-Chancellor Dr. V. Praveen Rao, the University said in a release here.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Praveen pointed that Agritech startups have a great opportunity to bring about the desired change at the grassroots level and emphasized that “the startup ecosystem is the need of the hour and leveraging the same has become much easier with the support of the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and Minister of IT K T Rama Rao”.
