KINGSTON Although the province hasn’t moved the Kingston area from the yellow level to orange yet, the area has seen its highest number of new cases in a single day, with 24 new cases reported on Friday, for a total of 96 active cases.
“We’re able to still connect the dots amongst all these cases, which is important from a public health standpoint, but it’s still quite disconcerting to have so many cases as we head into the holiday season,” Dr. Kieran Moore, Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox and Addington chief medical officer, said in a new conference call on Friday afternoon.
