17,300 beds arranged at isolation and COVID-19 care centers amid pandemic, says RSS

With over 5100 volunteers and 3800 help centres, the Rashtriya Sayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has been actively working amid the coronavirus pandemic. According to the organisation they have set up 17,300 beds at isolation and COVID-19 care centers.
According to Sunil Ambekar, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of RSS, volunteers have initiated many things including include, isolation centers for patients with possibility of COVID-19 infection and care centers for infected patients, helpline number for assistance, online medical advice, blood donation, plasma donation, helping with funerals, counselling, oxygen supply and ambulance service, distribution of food and masks, help with vaccination campaign and hearse vans to take bodies of the deceased for the last rites.

KOLKATA: The RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) wants the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) leadership to do a thorough introspection over the landslide victory secured by the TMC (Trinamool Congress) in West Bengal and especially focus on the merit of inducting many Trinamool deserters.
A quick review by RSS leaders in West Bengal and its top leadership revealed that induction of Trinamool deserters have not worked for the BJP.

New Delhi, April 29 : Amid the Covid-19 surge across the country, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has stepped up its public service campaign as its volunteers are operating Covid care centres in 43 cities and extending support to the district administrations and hospitals in 219 cities, said Sunil Ambekar, All India Publicity Head of the RSS.
During an online interaction with mediapersons on Thursday, Ambekar said: Like always organisations like RSS, Sewa Bharati etc are working to provide relief materials in the affected areas.
