Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost said John Harrison, Joseph Adams, Dwayne Robertson and Jason Jachna were indicted on RICO charges of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and conspiracy. Updated: 10:33 PM EST January 14, 2021 CLEVELAND On Tuesday morning, Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael C. O’Malley announced the additional sentencing of a Cleveland man in connection to two cold case sexual assaults in the area.  According to Prosecutor O Malley, Ronald Wheeler, 48, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to the rape of two women in Cleveland between December 2006 and March of 2007. Wheeler was already serving a 48-year sentence for four other stranger rapes.  “This serial rapist, who has been convicted of raping six victims, will now rightfully die behind bars,” said Prosecutor O’Malley. “Although delayed, justice has been served for these victims.”

He was 80. Samuel Little, who had diabetes, heart trouble and other ailments, died at a California hospital, according to the state Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. He was serving a life sentence for multiple counts of murder. California corrections department spokeswoman Vicky Waters said there was no sign of foul play, and his cause of death will be determined by a coroner.

Grand jury indicts man for murder of Garfield Heights woman

Updated: 2:54 PM EST December 30, 2020 CLEVELAND Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael C. O Malley announced today that a grand jury has indicted Ellis Wilson, 34, for the murder of of a 33-year-old Garfield Heights woman near the Harvard Avenue exit ramp of Interstate 77. According to the report, on December 19, 2020, Wilson and the victim were arguing insider her vehicle as she was driving on I-77 with her two children, ages 12 years old and eight months old, respectively, in the backseat. Following the argument, Wilson allegedly shot the victim multiple times prior to the vehicle coming to a stop near the Harvard Avenue exit ramp and then fled on foot.
