It s finally happening!!!
It s been over a year since line dancing fans from all across the Hudson Valley were able to dance at Billy Joes Ribworks on the Newburgh waterfront. After a long hiatus, the time has come to reopen the dance floor!!!
Country line dancing returns to Billy Joe s on Tuesday, June 1 starting at 8PM with me, CJ from the Wol,f playing all your favorite country line dancing music. We will have to follow some strict rules to be able to make this happen, but if your anything like me, I ll do just about anything to get back out on the deck under the stars for the summer at Billy Joe s.
When one door closes, another opens. That’s what they say, anyway. And it often seems to turn out to be the case. We were all sad to hear that the Nic L Inn Cellar Market and Bistro was closing its doors. Well, get ready for those very doors to be opening in the near future.
If you’ve been to bars like River Station, Tavern 23, Mahoney’s, or a slew of others, chances are Erin O’Neill has made you a drink. Erin is one of Poughkeepsie’s most beloved bartenders and she makes the best Bloody Mary I have ever tasted. I’m pretty sure that’s the case with all the drinks that Erin makes. And that’s only part of the reason Erin is such a popular bartender. She takes the time to get to know her customers, remember their likes and dislikes, and their names.
6 Unique Things About Kingston, New York
We ❤ Kingston.
Every Monday on the Wakin Up with CJ and Jess Show we start up the week by shining the light on one of our favorite towns in and around the Hudson Valley. How do we pick just one? We leave it up to you guys and the wheel O towns . The wheel has twenty different towns on it, and every Monday we take one lucky Wolf listener to pick one and Jess gives it a spin. Today we had Lorraine on the show, she went with Saugerties, Jess gave it a spin and it landed on Kingston. No prize for Lorraine, BUT we still get to celebrate Kingston.
