20 de julio de 2021 Por Sandor Lukacs De Pereny Profesor de ESAN Graduate School of Business Con 84 de los 114 microclimas existentes en el mundo y el 70 % de la biodiversidad del planeta, el Perú figura entre los 17 países megadiversos del mundo y es el segundo con mayor extensión amazónica (13 %) después de Brasil (60 %). Se estima también que cerca del 20 % del producto bruto interno (PBI), así como el 65 % de la agricultura nacional y las múltiples actividades turísticas dependen de la explotación de recursos naturales renovables, servicios ambientales y componentes biológicos complementarios. En consecuencia, la protección de nuestro capital natural resulta crítica por su relevancia ecológico-económica. Sin embargo, el Perú afronta varias amenazas ambientales que requerirán de la intervención del próximo Gobierno. En ese sentido, este artículo aborda los mayores retos medioambientales para el Perú, de cara al 2030.

Pakistan, Denmark launch green energy collaboration

Pakistan, Denmark launch green energy collaboration July 16, 2021 Islamabad : The Government of Pakistan has adopted an ambitious policy for alternative and renewable energy (ARE) to transform Pakistan’s energy sector and generate 60% of all energy through clean and renewable sources by 2030. To support Pakistan’s green transition, the Government of Denmark has entered into collaboration with Pakistan whereas the relevant technical authorities will exchange knowledge and the Danish authorities will provide technical assistance under the new the initiative, Danish Energy Transition Initiative (DETI). Federal Minister of Energy Hammad Azhar inaugurated the collaboration with the Ambassador of Denmark Lis Rosenholm and several high-level civil servants from relevant Pakistani and Danish energy authorities.
