Lauren Scott, an associate in McGuireWoods’ Products, Environmental & Mass Tort Litigation Department in Richmond will join Capital One on Jan. 19, 2021, as a senior manager flex counsel. In this role, she will address the legal needs across several departments and business groups. Her last day at the firm is Dec. 23, 2020.
At McGuireWoods, Scott’s litigation practice has focused on product liability, consumer class action, environmental and commercial litigation matters. Prior to joining McGuireWoods, she litigated commercial and insurance first-party matters before West Virginia state and federal courts. Among her accolades, in August 2020 she was selected for inclusion on Best Lawyers’ inaugural Ones to Watch list.
