The Andean region of Ayacucho has become a safe destination for tourists in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic after receiving from Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister Claudia Cornejo the Safe Travels Stamp awarded by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). Ayacucho has a great tourism potential thanks to its cultural and historical richness. Hence, the importance of providing safety and further suitable conditions to visitors from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur). These actions show our commitment to the region, the Mincetur head affirmed.
