PETALING JAYA: The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) has launched an immediate investigation over the incident on Friday (July 23) that saw 36 packs of nasi ganja being flown from Ipoh, Perak to Kuala Lumpur via a helicopter.
CAAM CEO Chester Voo said that the initial investigation found that the helicopter had departed at 9.08am from the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang for Ipoh, Perak and had returned to Subang at 11.02am. CAAM has initiated immediate investigations to determine whether the helicopter has breached any regulation as stated in the Malaysian Civil Aviation Regulation 2016 (MCAR 2016) and the Civil Aviation Directives (CADs).

IPOH: The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) has started investigation to determine whether the helicopter that landed at a field here yesterday to pick up a “nasi ganja” order had violated regulations.
CAAM, in a statement, said it was investigating to determine if the flight by the Bell 505 helicopter, operated by Systematic Aviation Services Sdn. Bhd (SAS), had breached any regulations under the Malaysian Civil Aviation Regulations 2016 and the Civil Aviation Directives (CADs).
The helicopter landed at the Ipoh City Council field at 10 am yesterday and returned to the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang, in Selangor, at 11:02 am, as filed in its flight plan, it said.

THE Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) has started an investigation into the case of a Bell 505 helicopter that landed on a field at Ipoh City Council in Perak yesterday to collect 36 packets of ‘nasi ganja’.
In a statement today, CAAM said that an initial investigation showed that the helicopter had departed at 9.08am from Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang for Ipoh and returned to Subang at 11.02am, as per the filed flight plan.
