Rudy Gobert should be in the discussion to be named the NBA’s Most Valuable Player. More than that, he should be one of the top contenders to bring home the Maurice Podoloff Trophy.
Donovan Mitchell is in a similar situation, albeit to a much lesser extent. He shouldn’t win the MVP award, but he should at least have his name mentioned once or twice in the discussion, simply as a courtesy.
Lakeland foodies, rejoice. After more than a year of waiting, the Lakeland Food Truck Rally is finally driving back to town next Thursday, May 13.
The popular monthly rally gathered last in February of 2020 before the March rally was canceled altogether because of COVID-19. And in the early months of the pandemic hopes of the rally continuing were dashed as local governments cracked down on any events that drew large crowds in an effort to reduce the spread of the virus.
Last November, the rally was set for its grand return. But the fun was rained out by Tropical Storm Eta, which didn t hit Polk County particularly hard but still brought out the kind of wet weather even Florida natives would rather avoid.

MyTEAM Season 7 Available Friday for NBA 2K21
2K has announced that its ongoing MyTEAM Seasons will continue with the seventh starting on Friday for NBA 2K21. The seventh season is known as Full Throttle and it will last for four weeks. To help match the intensity of the final stretch of the NBA season, players will race to level 40 and receive 150,000 XP on day one. This will be the quickest season to date as it ends on June 4 and players will start off with a Ruby Derrick Rose as a level one rewards. You can read the full breakdown of Season 7 below.
