This year s tackle class is being touted as one of the best in years. Not only is there premium talent at the top, but there is a great deal of depth. Similar to last year, there is a grouping of four to five players at the top, and once again, there isn t a consensus of who is the best.
Many thought Mekhi Becton would be the first tackle selected in 2020, but he went third overall. It appeared that Penei Sewell would be the best player in the draft coming into the season. His sophomore film was deemed to be excellent, protecting the blind side for quarterback Justin Herbert. However, after opting out of the 2020 season, and began finding holes in his game and some claim he isn t the same prospect he was billed to be before the season.

Should Spencer Brown, the Northern Iowa tackle, be selected in the first round of the NFL Draft?

The three most important positions in the NFL are quarterback, left tackle and pass rusher.
There is a reason why those players go very early in the draft and they can be mediocre at the position and still make a tremendous amount of money in the league. There is a premium for each and few teams can say they feel strong at any of the three, let alone all three. So how do teams gain an advantage over their peers at these positions?

It goes without saying that epically bad hot takes are the norm rather than the exception in politics, whether they come from politicians themselves or from their staunchest supporters.
But in this writer’s humble opinion, one hot take in particular from a senior aide to Gov. Andrew Cuomo this week – and the timing of it, especially – could easily be considered a contender for the “Worst Hot Take Ever” award, if such a “prize” actually existed.
