WAU locks in naming rights sponsors Repco Supercars Championship By James Pavey
Walkinshaw Andretti United has announced that all three of the team s co-naming rights sponsors from 2020 will continue into the 2021 season.
The 2021 Repco Supercars Championship will be Mobil 1 s 28th year as a partner of the Holden team, continuing on one of the longest standing partnerships in world motorsport.
Appliances Online will remain on Chaz Mostert s #25 entry, with Middy s Electrical staying with Bryce Fullwood on the #2 entry.
Appliances Online linked up with WAU in 2019, having joined the team from the 2019 Bathurst 1000.
There, the WAU-Appliances Online relationship began in style with a first-up podium for James Courtney and Jack Perkins.
Kelly Racing will no longer have majority ownership from former Supercars drivers and brothers Rick and Todd Kelly, the team announcing today that the Grove Group have invested to become the new owners of the team. Supercars race winner Chaz Mostert will take part in the season opener of the TCR Australia series later this month, racing an Audi RS3 LMS for Melbourne Performance Centre.
Mostert, the winner of the 2014 Bathurst 1000, took part in an official test session at Phillip Island earlier this week, where he was joined by 14 other TCR cars ahead of the season opener.
The Queenslander is a regular in the Supercars Championship with team Walkinshaw Andretti United, finishing fifth overall in last year’s drivers championship and claiming 13 victories since his début in 2013.

Mostert will carry backing from adhesvies company Bostik for the event. The 28-year-old has also previously contested races in GTs in Australia, as well as testing a Hyundai i30 N TCR in 2018.

Supercars ace Chaz Mostert has been confirmed to make a start in the opening round of the 2021 TCR Australia Racing Series season at Symmons Plains, running an Audi RS 3 TCR prepared by Melbourne Performance Centre.
The 2014 Bathurst 1000 winner and rising star with Walkinshaw Andretti United in the Supercars Championship has been looking to drive in TCR Australian alongside Supercars since the former series started in 2019, having been blocked by Tickford Racing at the time due to Ford not having a car in the series.
Now with the Holden-based team, WAU has given him their blessing to compete in TCR Australia, making his first round start in the series as a track he has frequented in Supercars since his debut season.
