Emergency services were called to the Mooloolah Connection Road just before Steve Irwin Way at Glenview about 6.35am on Tuesday. A black Ford Falcon ute and red Nissan Patrol ute collided on the hinterland road which led to firefighters using the jaws of life to cut free two of the passengers. The driver of the black ute, a 24-year-old Kensington Grove man, suffered a serious head injury and was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition.

Emergency services were called to Connection Road just before Steve Irwin Way at Glenview about 6.30am on Tuesday. Sunshine Coast police district duty officer Senior Sergeant Brett Young said a black Ford Falcon ute and red Nissan Patrol had collided on the hinterland road. Rescue helicopter leaving scene: A rescue helicopter has left the scene at Glenview where three passengers were injured in a head-on crash. The driver of the ute, a man in his early 20s, had suffered a serious head injury and was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women s Hospital in a critical condition.
