From the first seconds, it’s clear that Drakeo the Ruler’s new mixtape is different. Sure, the beats are strong, the hooks catchy and the lyrics poetic all elements that have propelled the gangster rapper from South Central Los Angeles to national prominence.
But there’s a scratchy, analog feel to his voice this time, evident whether he’s spitting about street codes, snitching or shopping at Neiman Marcus. Then there’s the distinctive soundbite placed at the end of each song: a pleasing, computer-generated woman’s voice saying, “Thank you for using GTL.”

The Perot Museum of Nature and Science elected former Neiman Marcus president and CEO Karen Katz chair during its final board meeting of 2020. Katz succeeds Mac McFarland and will serve a year-long term.

Katz spent nearly 33 years with Neiman Marcus, working her way through various executive posts before serving eight years as president and CEO. During her time as CEO, she led the company through an extended period of growth and digital transformation. Katz retired in 2018 but continues to serve on the boards of Under Armour, Humana, and Casper. She is also chair of a shoe company, StreetTrend.

DALLAS, Dec. 14, 2020 /PRNewswire/ Securus Technologies today released its weekly update detailing the total number of free calls, video connections, JPay Stamps, news subscriptions and game downloads it has provided since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. The offerings are part of an emergency program Securus deployed with its correctional partners on March 13, when the pandemic was declared a national emergency. It was developed to support re-entry efforts and help incarcerated individuals stay connected with loved ones during this challenging time.
To date, those free offerings total:
32.8 million free call credits for incarcerated individuals and their families, resulting in 260.0 million free minutes of phone connections;
Temporary Hold Placed On All On-Site Visitations At Bradley County Jail Friday, December 11, 2020
Due to the increased number of COVID-19 cases in Bradley County, all on-site visitations at the Bradley County Jail will be put on a temporary hold effective Monday. This decision has been made in the interest of further protecting the health and well-being of our inmates and employees, as well as the citizens of Bradley County, officials said.
All scheduled on-site public inmate visits will be canceled and terminated for a minimum of three weeks. However, all video home visitations through Securus Technologies will continue to be accessible.
