In a recent video released by jetpack manufacturer Gravity Industries, a special ops soldier from the Netherlands Maritime Special Operations Force can be seen sporting a jet suit while boarding a ship.
According to Defense Brief, this particular jet suit can reach a top speed of 37 mph (60 kph) for up to 8 minutes. This new tech could significantly cut down the time boarding on a ship.
DOCTIFY RAISES €6.3M FOR HEALTHCARE REVIEW PLATFORM
London-based healthcare review platform Doctify has raised an additional €6.3M in a round of funding. The investment was led by Keen Venture Partners and existing investors including Amadeus Capital, Guinness Asset Management and Tom Teichman.
Doctify has now raised an overall investment of €16.8M to expand its platform, which allows patients to review, choose and book appointments with doctors.
The platform uses SaaS software to provide insights and analytics into the care they provide and enables patients to receive real-time feedback for a hospital, clinic or doctor for a condition or procedure.
Healthcare providers are then able to collect and digitise patient feedback and publish it through external and internal channels.

InnovaeroFOX has advanced to the next stage of its test flight program successfully completing a series of challenging flight tests on schedule.
The 100 per cent Australian-made Maritime Unmanned Aerial System (MUAS) InnovaeroFOX has faced a series of tests at 40 per cent scale involving the execution of short, controlled circuits at varying speeds and airframe configuration settings. This follows previous hover tests of the 30 per cent scale Vertical Take-off and Landing (VTOL) system in November 2020.
The latest series of flight tests part of an ongoing, comprehensive program in the lead up to trials at full-scale of the 8-metre wingspan InnovaeroFOX have provided valuable data for the vehicle’s operating envelope. Full-scale testing of FOX FTA-1 (VTOL) and FOX FTA-2 (Conventional Take-off and Landing) platforms will occur later this year.
