NORFOLK, Va. - Two people are in the hospital after a crash in the 1400 block of Azalea Garden Road Friday night.
The call came in at 8 p.m.
Norfolk Police say the crash involved only one vehicle.
The victims were taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment. Their injuries are said to be life-threatening.
You are asked to avoid the area while police work to clear the crash.

NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk Police are investigating a shooting in the 900 block of E. Brambleton Avenue that left a man seriously injured early Friday evening.
The call came in around 6 p.m.
Police say the man was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment for his injuries, which are said to be life-threatening.

A 35-year-old man was killed Saturday morning in Portsmouth after his car was hit by another vehicle fleeing the police, according to Virginia State Police. NORFOLK, Va. - A woman was seriously injured in a vehicle-pedestrian crash in Norfolk Thursday morning.
According to police, the crash happened at 11:50 a.m. in the 900 block of E. Little Creek Road.
The woman was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police ask that people avoid the area while they investigate the crash.
