Christian Minister Sues Harris & Pelosi Over Capitol Grounds Access for Good Friday

© press Nancy Pelosi and Kamala Harris are being sued by a Christian minister A Christian minister is suing Democrat leaders Nancy Pelosi and Kamala Harris after being denied access to the U.S. Capitol grounds in Washington D.C. to hold a prayer vigil on Good Friday. Rev. Patrick Mahoney filed the lawsuit in federal court on Tuesday that also names the U.S. Capitol Police Board and the Senate Sergeant at Arms. The Presbyterian minister claims that the continued presence of a barrier blocking off the area surrounding the Capitol building is violating his First Amendment rights. In his complaint, Rev. Mahoney says that he has been attempting to hold a prayer vigil on the sidewalk near the Lower Western Terrace of the Capitol for Good Friday.
