The St. Clair Shores mother heard over the phone that her son was transported to Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit for treatment of a massive brain hemorrhage, according to the hospital. The father’s girlfriend at the time, Rachel Edwards, was later charged with abusing Wyatt, who survived the ordeal.

Michigan GOP leader shares misinformation on masks that suggests suing employers Dave Boucher, Detroit Free Press A leader of the Michigan Republican Party shared an inaccurate message on social media early Tuesday that suggested masks do not keep people safe and employees should sue their bosses at workplaces where masks are required.  On Tuesday morning, Maddock shared a tweet that stated, Masks are Ineffective, Harmful (physically n mentally) and Never Intended for General Population Use.   A litany of health and science literature indicates masks help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and many other diseases. And Michigan COVID-19 regulations mandate that employers require people working around others in an office or similar setting to wear masks.
