Ron DeSantis may not like each other, but they have one thing in common: Solid approval among Florida voters.
A new poll from bipartisan firm RABA Research found the stateâs top elected official and the Commander in Chief both have approval ratings in the positive by double-digits.
DeSantis, midway through his first term, has the approval of 56% of voters compared to 42% who disapprove, giving him a plus-14 favorability rating. Biden, whoâs wrapping up his first 100 days, is above water 54%-42%, or plus-12.

Agreement Expected to Bolster State Revenues by $6 billion through 2030
Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced a historic gaming compact between the State of Florida and the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The agreement will generate the state a minimum of $2.5 billion in new revenue over the next five years and an estimated $6 billion through 2030.
“This historic compact expands economic opportunity, tourism, and recreation, and bolsters the fiscal success of our state in one fell swoop for the benefit of all Floridians and Seminoles alike,” said Governor DeSantis. “Our agreement establishes the framework to generate billions in new revenue and untold waves of positive economic impact. TALLAHASSEE â Gov. Ron DeSantis on Friday signed a $500 million gaming compact with the Seminole Tribe of Florida that would bring mobile sports betting to the state of Florida and allow for Las Vegas style casinos at all tribal facilities.
If approved, anyone who is over age 21 and located within the state of Florida and has the app on their mobile device, could place a bet from anywhere on any professional and collegiate sports team and individual performance, motor sports event and Olympic competition.
