Tahir Javed said Saturday that Democrat Senators Chris Van Hollen and Maria Cantwell and Republican Todd Young introduced the package, which will bring economic benefits for Afghanistan and Pakistan. The economic package was introduced to promote stability in the region. It has been tabled before the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee. Under this package, reconstruction zones will be established in the Pak-Afghan border areas.
