Addressing a seminar titled Disinformation as a Tool of Strategic Warfare organised by the Institute of Regional Studies in Islamabad, Sayed stressed the need for clarity regarding the said policy to respond effectively.

  ISLAMABAD, Feb. 3 (Gwadar Pro) - The Online Seminar on Ecological Environment Protection under the auspices of Trans-Himalaya Forum for International Cooperation simultaneously convened in Beijing and Lhasa, capital of Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR), China.   The Forum had a diverse and distinguished participation from Asia, Europe, the USA and Latin America, including former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and former Prime Minister of Australia, Kevin Rudd.   China’s Vice Foreign Minister Lou Zhaohui, who has served as Ambassador to Pakistan, also gave a keynote speech. The Forum was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and the government of TAR, China acted as one-host.

No elite group to get priority in vaccination, Senate assured - Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The Senate was assured on Friday that no elite group would be prioritised for Covid-19 vaccination. Responding to a calling attention notice moved by Senators Sherry Rehman and Ayesha Raza Farooq, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan allayed fears that the vaccine would be administered on a priority basis to politicians, generals and judges. He said that priority would be given only to high-risk category including frontline healthcare professionals, elderly people and teachers. He said registration for vaccination would be made through an online portal the National Immunisation Management System (NIMS). The minister said that Pakistan would receive the first consignment of 500,000 Covid-19 vaccines from China on Sunday.
