The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved proposals of Department of Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT) for construction of various infrastructure projects totalling Rs 7,725.05 crore.
These include projects in Krishnapatnam Industrial Area in Andhra Pradesh with an estimated cost of the project of Rs. 2,139.44 crore; Tumakuru Industrial Area in Karnataka with an estimated cost of Rs. 1,701.81 crore and the Multi-Modal Logistics Hub (MMLH) and Multi-Modal Transport Hub (MMTH) at Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh with an estimated cost of Rs. 3,883.80 crore.

New Delhi [India], December 30 (ANI): The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday approved industrial corridor nodes at Andhra Pradesh s Krishnapatnam and Karnataka s Tumakuru under Chennai-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor (CBIC) and Multi Modal Logistics Hub and Multi Modal Transport Hub (MMTH) at Greater Noida.
The construction of Krishnapatnam Industrial Area in Andhra Pradesh has got the Cabinet s approval with an estimated cost of the project of Rs 2,139.44 crores and Tumakuru Industrial Area in Karnataka with an estimated cost of Rs 1,701.81 crores.
The estimated cost of Multi Modal Logistics Hub (MMLH) and Multi Modal Transport Hub (MMTH) at Greater Noida is Rs 3,883.80 crores.

Bengaluru, Dec 20: Nitin Gadkari, union minister of road transport and highways, micro, small and medium enterprises, on Saturday December 19 said that the union government will invest an amount of Rs 1,16,144 crore to augment the road network in Karnataka in coming years.
The amount has been sanctioned to carry out three projects with a view of safety of road users on Shiradi ghat, Charmadi ghat and Sampaje ghat, he said.
Speaking after dedicating 33 National Highway projects worth Rs 10,904 crore covering 1,197 km length in a virtual event held here, Gadkari said that under the Bharatmala and other schemes, as many as 19 works at a cost of Rs 31,035 crore are already under progress.
