FRANKFORT, Ky. Few demonstrators came out to the Kentucky Capitol Wednesday, where members of the Kentucky National Guard and Kentucky State Police provided increased security.

The heightened security measures, including enhanced law enforcement patrol and restricted car traffic, were in response to warnings about the possibility of violence at state Capitol buildings around the country. There were threats about violence and incidents as a result of President Joe Biden s inauguration.
Three demonstrators showed up with signs, including Ron King of Winchester.
