Apple is closing out the year with new data-privacy features an App Tracking and Transparency feature for all developers on the App Store, along with updates to its privacy policy and website.
App Store apps will now feature an App Privacy tab with self-reported data from developers. Think of it like a data nutrition label that provides quick information on the type of data apps collect, broken down into three categories:
Data used to track you is the most invasive of the group. It
refers to data collected by an app that is linked to you or your device. This data is linked to data collected from other companies and apps and can be used to target advertisements or sold to data brokers.
