The 48-year-old driver of the Nissan Navara and his 13-year-old passenger were not physically injured during the crash.
Police have appealed to those who may have seen either vehicles prior to the incident or anyone who may have stopped at the intersection and witnessed the incident to contact them.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are investigating.

Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Riverhills
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a man died in a two-vehicle crash at Riverhills earlier this evening.
Initial investigations indicate at 5.30pm, a Honda motorcycle and a Nissan Navara collided at the intersection of Sumners Road and Wacol Station Road.
The motorcyclist, a 28-year-old Karalee man, died at the scene.
The 48-year-old driver and his 13-year-old passenger of the dual cab were not physically injured during the crash.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen the motorbike or vehicle prior to the crash to speak to police.

Initial police investigations indicate that the motorcycle was travelling on the wrong side of the road when it collided with an oncoming BT-50 ute and then a Ford Mustang.
