FSUSD Dual Immersion and IB graduates selected for Dutch Bros internships
Brianna Estrada and Mitchel Nosbisch attended the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District’s Dual Immersion program K-8 together, and then graduated from Armijo’s International Baccalaureate program.
Brianna went on to UCLA to study Sociology and Chicana/o/x and Central American Studies, while Mitchel delayed enrolling in UC Davis as a Managerial Economics major for one year to go through U.S. Air Force basic military training and Intelligence Operations Technical School. He’s currently a staff sergeant assigned to the 349th Operations Support Squadron at Travis Air Force Base and a UC Davis student.
32 The first aircrew to support U.S. Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa Operation Copper Arrow 2021 executed refueling capabilities from a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, April 16.
The aircrew, assigned to the 190th Air Refueling Wing, Kansas Air National Guard, was the first in a rotation of ANG and Air Force Reserve Command tanker crew to participate in the operation to provide increased air refueling capacity to the European theater.
After completing mission briefs and pre-flight checks, the 190th ARW tanker crew departed Ramstein to carry out the refueling of a NATO E-3A Sentry aircraft operating out of NATO Air Base, Geilenkirchen, Germany.

LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. Airmen from the 19th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron participated in a 10-day off-station training exercise with the 41st Airlift Squadron and 19th Operations Support Squadron at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, March 29 - April 7.
The Airmen flew with the 41st AS to provide maintenance support for two C-130J Super Hercules during their daily training operations – performing pre-flight and post-flight checks and troubleshooting any problems that arose with the aircraft.
In addition to performing maintenance duties, leadership from the 19th AMXS viewed the OST as an opportunity to assess the capabilities of four prospective flying crew chiefs (FCCs) crew chiefs who fly with the aircraft to ensure it completes its mission.
12 Airmen from the 19th Airlift Wing executed a large formation launch and training event, designated “Swamp Dash”, with 913 Airlift Group mission partners April 15, which included 13 C-130J Super Hercules from Little Rock Air Force Base and two C-130Js from the 317th Airlift Wing at Dyess AFB, Texas.
The training objectives included joining up with Dyess at Chennault International Airport, Louisiana and providing pre-deployment training to the U.S. Army’s 46th Engineer Battalion and 519th Military Police Battalion.
“We were able to leverage our joint relationships and source real cargo from the Army,” said Capt. Kyle Hormann, 34th Combat Training Squadron air mobility liaison officer. “We also assisted the Army units with load plans training and instructed them on how to complete the appropriate paperwork to get their cargo moved safely.”
