Canberra, April 16 : Australia s Treasurer Josh Frydenberg on Friday revealed that jobs growth will be at the centre of the Federal Budget for 2021/22.
Frydenberg will hand down the budget on May 11, only about seven months after the Budget for 2020/21, which was delayed by the coronavirus pandemic, reports Xinhua news agency.
He recently said that the government was focused on getting Australians back into work before tackling the record budget deficit and debt.
Frydenberg said that the government would enable and encourage the private sector to keep hiring, to innovate, to grow and to help lead the recovery from here , according to News Corp Australia on Friday.

CANBERRA, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) A proposed data superhighway would turn the Northern Territory (NT) into Australia s digital gateway to Asia.
The 1.5 billion Australian dollar (1.16 billion U.S. dollar) HyperOne project proposed by technology entrepreneur Bevan Slattery would involve connecting all of Australia s capital cities for the first time via 20,000 kilometers of fibre network.
An interconnection point for undersea cables into Australia from Asia would be built in Darwin.
The project would create 10,000 jobs during construction and be capable of transmitting 10,000 terabits of data per second.
According to Slattery it would be the largest private digital infrastructure network of its kind in Australia and would deliver more transmission capacity than any other network.

CANBERRA, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) The government of South Australia (SA) has been urged to bring international students back to the state on charter flights.
Chief Executive of the International Education Association of Australia Phil Honeywood recently called on SA to follow the lead of the Northern Territory (NT) to revive its international education industry.
The NT in November last year used a charter flight to bring 63 students into Darwin from Singapore. They were the first international students to enter Australia since borders were closed in March 2020.
Honeywood praised the initiative and said SA should follow suit, describing the state s current plan of having international students take seats on commercial flights not filled by returning Australians as a lottery.
