The Duchess of Sussex has suggested her High Court privacy claim win against The Mail On Sunday was a victory for all “because we all deserve justice and truth, and we all deserve better”.
Meghan issued a deeply personal statement after the judgment, thanking husband Harry, her mother Doria Ragland and her legal team for their “unrelenting support” that followed “two long years of pursuing litigation”.
Commenting on the toll of being the subject of what she claimed was The Mail On Sunday’s “illegal and dehumanising practices” the duchess said: “The damage they have done and continue to do runs deep”.
The Duchess of Sussex s outspoken half-sister Samantha has finally released her tell-all book about their relationship and the rift that has torn apart the Markle family, promising readers that the truth is stranger than fiction .
Samantha s autobiography, titled The Diary of Princess Pushy s Sister: A Memoir, Part One , is expected to heavily criticise Meghan for shunning her American relatives and what she sees as cutting off their father Thomas after he was unable to attend the royal wedding following a heart attack.
It lays bare details of the Markle siblings upbringing, including the rivalry between Meghan and Samantha when their father was still married to the actress s mother Doria Ragland.
A royal expert has warned that Meghan Markle might lose her major lawsuit against Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL). The duchess was in court earlier this month in the hope that she could win a summary judgment in the case. The judge said he will deliver his ruling later in February. If he decides to continue the lawsuit, Meghan will likely be called to the stand to testify which is believed to be a first for the royal family.
According to
The Daily Express, experts have suggested this might be the result after noting that ANL has an iron-clad defense that would be difficult for Meghan to overcome.
