Among the other gainers were Oil India Ltd (up 0.72%), Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd (up 0.71%), Castrol India Ltd (up 0.69%), Hindustan Oil Exploration Company Ltd (up 0.69%), and Reliance Industries Ltd (up 0.58%). The S&P BSE Energy index went up 16.18 % over last one year compared to the 12.37% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
