The pandemic has caused all of us to have a bit of negative energy. Between staying home and social distancing, we need something positive to get us through the tough period we re in. What a way to add a little bit of positive energy to the mix than by spending some time with some penguins?
The Wild Animal Park in Chittenango has gone live with sessions for Penguin Encounters on their website and are now taking reservations. It’s a half hour long encounter, any interaction is on the penguins terms. Which means, yes, you could possibly have the opportunity to waddle like a penguin with a penguin. Sounds like a bucket list task getting crossed off right there.

The DuPage Birding Club is offering new tools for schools (K-12), home-schoolers, libraries, senior centers, scouting clubs, and other organizations that want to engage their audiences with activities related to the fascinating world of birds.
The club created these tools to respond to an increased interest in watching birds by the general public as a result of the pandemic. People in DuPage County are spending more time appreciating nature in our forest preserves, at home in backyards, and in remote learning situations.
