Little Arlo the Maltese has walked the same path around his home in Doolandella with his brother Archie and owner Fiona Seeto since he was old enough, but when a dangerous dog wandered out of its yard on January 10, Arlo was mauled to death. The Wild Animal Park in Chittenango has gone live with sessions for Penguin Encounters on their website and are now taking reservations. It’s a half hour long encounter, any interaction is on the penguins terms. Which means, yes, you could possibly have the opportunity to waddle like a penguin with a penguin. Sounds like a bucket list task getting crossed off right there.

People in DuPage County are spending more time appreciating nature in our forest preserves, at home in backyards, and in remote learning situations.
