There have now been seven workplaces in the Thompson and Okanagan regions of Interior Health that have been closed due to COVID cases. “Living in a household with a person who has COVID-19 means you and all of the other people who live in that house are close contacts and need to self-isolate,” the B.C. Centre for Disease Control says on its website.

Baraboo woman accused of embezzling more than $133K from vet clinic

BRIDGET COOKE Capital Newspapers A Baraboo woman was recently charged with six felony counts of theft after being accused of stealing nearly $133,000 from her the vet clinic she worked for. Bobbi Jo Tracy, 44, faces a maximum of 40 years in prison and fines up to $75,000 for the charges filed March 10 in Sauk County Circuit Court. According to the criminal complaint, Tracy was hired in October 2012 to work at the front desk of Noble Hound Animal Hospital & Pet Resort, 490 Bunker Road, and was promoted three years later to office manager. She left the business in March 2018, citing stress, according to a doctor at the clinic.
