Friends were sticking their heads out of the window of a train when one was killed after being struck by an overhanging tree branch, an inquest heard.
Bethan Roper, 28, suffered fatal head injuries while a passenger on the Great Western Railway (GWR) travelling at around 75mph. She was returning home to Penarth in the Vale of Glamorgan from a day out with friends Christmas shopping in Bath.

A young driver was showing off and demonstrating how fast he could drive when he crashed and killed one of his passengers, a court has heard.
Dylan Benjamin was driving far too quickly when he tried to take a sharp bend and lost control of his car, slamming into an oncoming vehicle.
