WEST CHESTER, PA A team from the Academy at West Fallowfield Christian School will represent Chester County in state Environthon competition in May, after the winning competition here, while Conestoga High School team took second place and a West Chester Bayard Rustin High School team took third.
Chester County Commissioners Marian Moskowitz, Josh Maxwell and Michelle Kichline recognized three high school teams from Chester County at a recent public Commissioners Meeting, for their accomplishments in the 2021 Envirothon student competition.

PARKER FORD, PA The Schuylkill River Trail is moving into its next phase and soon there will be four more miles to enjoy.
Chester County Commissioners Marian Moskowitz, Josh Maxwell, and Michelle Kichline were joined by partners from PennDOT, the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, Schuylkill River Greenways, and the Circuit Trails to break ground on Chester County s latest extension to the Schuylkill River Trail (SRT).
Phase II of the County s Schuylkill River Trail is a four-mile, $6 million paved extension that will take the trail from Linfield Road at Parker Ford, to the new Route 422 Bridge crossing of the Schuylkill River at the Montgomery County border.
