A man wanted in suspicion to murders in Missouri and South Carolina was captured by law enforcement on Monday after nearly a week on the run.
Tyler Terry is in custody,” the Chester County (S.C.) Sheriff’s Office tweeted. “No shots were fired by any party. Everyone (including Terry) is safe.”
Residents of Chester County had been alerted for several days to stay indoors as much as possible after Terry, 27, escaped police during a high-speed chase on Monday after a number of deadly shootings earlier in May, according to ABC News.

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Police arrested a man wanted in four killings this month across two states on Monday after a seven-day search in South Carolina.
Tyler Terry was arrested around 10:30 a.m. with no more shots fired and he and the more than 300 officers searching for him were not hurt, the Chester County Sheriff s Office posted on Twitter.
They did not release any additional details.
Officers, dogs, helicopters and drones have searched in woods, neighborhoods and industrial areas for Terry since he ran from the wrecked car he was a passenger in last Monday night in Chester County.

Neither Tyler Terry nor the more than 300 officers searching for him were hurt during his arrest, the Chester County Sheriff s Office posted on Twitter. The manhunt finally ended after at least three confirmed sightings of Terry since he ran from a wrecked car after firing on Chester County deputies on May 17.
