CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WWBT) - Police have identified the suspect who was killed following a shootout with police.
According to police, officers arrived at a residence located in the 17100 block of Lansmill Drive around 4:15 p.m. on Jan. 13 to serve warrants for violating a protective order on a male suspect. Police said the suspect, identified as Jeffrey D. Kite, 36, refused to come out of the residence.
“The subject was uncooperative, unwilling to work with officers,” said Chesterfield Police Chief Jeffrey Katz.
