Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX release date set for June in new trailer A gorgeous retro remake gets a release date. Publisher Merge Games and developer Jankenteam have announced a June 24, 2021 release date for Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. As previously announced in June of 2020, Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX is a beautiful remake of the original 1986 game on Sega Master System. It adds new levels never seen in the original game along with a remastered soundtrack of new and old tunes, but if you want a strictly retro experience, you can toggle on Retro Mode at any given moment to play the game with its original graphics. There is also a Boss Rush mode, and bosses in general have been retooled for “more intuitive combat.”
