Multiple wildfires are burning across Oregon, particularly in the southern and central part of the state.  Bruler Fire ignites south of Detroit Lake, estimated at 15-20 acres Updated at 5 p.m. on Monday, July 12 A new wildfire ignited Monday afternoon in Willamette National Forest south of Detroit Lake.  The Bruler Fire appears to be burning in the Quartzville Creek Corridor northeast of Foster Lake. A smoke column can be seen from the surrounding area.

On Friday, each car had a smashed window, with items, including credit cards, missing. One couple, who chose to remain anonymous, said they were hiking at Lava Island Falls south of Bend for a few hours. By the time they returned to the parking lot, their car, and the car behind it, had shattered windows.

(KTVZ) Monday was a busy day for the Pet Evacuation Team as they set up at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds and Expo Center to house any animals displaced by the fast-growing Grandview Fire. The stalls in the Beef Barn have been cleared to accommodate the animals of owners who need to evacuate their homes due to the blaze, which broke out Sunday. The equipment trailer that PET brought to the site holds a variety of resources to make sure the animals are well-cared for.
