Dustin Diamond as Screech in Saved By The Bell

The bell has rung for Screech one last time. To a generation who grew up during the Nineties, actor Dustin Diamond will forever be Samuel Screech Powers from hit US high school sitcom Saved By The Bell, a fixture of Saturday morning TV. That same generation will have been saddened by news that Diamond - whose adult life proved eventful, even by Hollywood child star standards - has died from cancer, aged just 44.
Saved By The Bell followed a group of pupils at the fictional Bayside High School in suburban California. As the endearingly awkward sidekick to popular school heartthrob Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), this curly-haired nerd was the show’s scene-stealing comic relief. Screech became an instant fan favourite.

Update: Christian s Status WWE Status Going Forward Posted By: Ben Kerin on Feb 02, 2021
Christian s return during Sunday at the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view was not just a one-time appearance, rather he has returned to the company on a part-time basis.
After retiring due to concussion-related reasons, Christian was reportedly cleared to return to in-ring action about a week ago.
His return at the Rumble was a closely guarded secret that only a few people were aware of.
Dustin Diamond died on Monday aged 44 - just three weeks after being diagnosed with cancer
Diamond was diagnosed with stage 4 small-cell lung carcinoma last month
The actor reportedly had a large lump on his neck and was hesitant about having it seen by a doctor for fear of attracting public attention
His girlfriend, Tash Jules, eventually persuaded Diamond to go to hospital to have the lump inspected; she was by his side when he died on Monday
According to a pal, Diamond is set to be cremated and did not want a headstone because he was afraid it would be vandalized
Even as a kid, he was charming as well as talented. I remember he had a very gentle spirit. He was very funny and loved to make people laugh.
I followed his subsequent career and was happy to see him find such great success on “Saved by the Bell.”
The first TV show I ever did was Saved By The Bell: The New Class. I was star struck to be working with Dustin Diamond and he couldn’t have been nicer to me even giving me advice when it was clear I was nervous. Thank you, Dustin, for the kindness and the tips. #RIPDustinDiamond
