Russia records 28,776 new cases of Covid-19, 561 deaths, 24,158 recoveries over past 24 hours
MOSCOW. Dec 22 (Interfax) - Russia has recorded another 28,776 new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours, and 561 people diagnosed earlier with coronavirus have died over this period, the federal coronavirus operative response headquarters said in a statement on Tuesday. Russia has recorded 28,776 new confirmed coronavirus cases in all of the 85 regions over the past 24 hours, including 5,678 (19.7%) identified proactively, without any clinical symptoms manifested, it said.
As it has been before, Moscow has seen the largest number of daily cases, 7,237, over the past 24 hours; 71 people earlier diagnosed with coronavirus have died and 5,003 have recovered and been discharged from the hospital.

Dec 21 (Interfax) - Russia has hit another all-time daily high of 29,350 new Covid-19 cases, and 493 patients have died in the past 24 hours, the coronavirus response headquarters said in a statement on Monday. Over the past day, 29,350 Covid-19 cases were confirmed in 84 regions of Russia, including 5,792 active asymptomatic cases (19.7%), the headquarters said.
The previous all-time daily high of 29,039 new cases was seen in Russia on December 6.
The morbidity growth remains the steepest in Moscow.
According to the headquarters, the Russian capital registered 7,797 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours (as against 7,263 on Sunday), as well as 75 deaths and 4,798 recoveries.

MOSCOW, December 20. /TASS/. More than 612,000 people remain under medical supervision in Russia over a suspected coronavirus infection, the sanitary watchdog said on Sunday. Some 612,676 people remain under medical supervision in Russia, the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing reported.
More than 85.9 mln COVID-19 tests have been carried out, including 523,000 tests in the past day, according to the sanitary watchdog.
