More than 156,000 citizens have scheduled the date of their vaccine against covid-19 through the Self-Scheduling Portal for Vaccination, the Ministry of Health reported, despite some problems in the functionality of the site.
According to data sent to the Lusa agency by the Ministry of Health, until Thursday the portal validated more than 156 thousand vaccination requests, including those from users on the waiting list, of which more than 67 thousand were scheduled. There have been many people using self-scheduling, which means that there is confidence in the process and people even show anxiety about getting vaccinated, said Secretary of State for Health, António Lacerda Sales.

More than a hundred people without symptoms of Covid-19 reported to SNS 24, the result of a positive self-test, according to data from the Shared Services of the Ministry of Health (SPMS).
The tests started to be distributed in pharmacies on April 2 and up until today, “the SNS 24 registered 114 contacts of asymptomatic users who reported a positive self-test result”, said SPMS in response to the Lusa agency.
“When users transmit an inconclusive or positive result, a request for a Covid-19 laboratory test (RT-PCR) is automatically issued”, explain the Shared Services of the Ministry of Health (SPMS).

In four months of operation of the Stayaway Covid app, more than 12,000 codes of positive cases to SARS-CoV-2 were generated in a universe of over 500 thousand new infections registered in the country.
In response to the Lusa News Agency, the Institute of Systems and Computers Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC TEC) said that since the launch of the app, on 1 September, more than 12 thousand codes have been generated and inserted in the app for users who tested positive for the new coronavirus.
The 12,050 codes were generated by the Shared Services of the Ministry of Health (SPMS), of which users introduced 2,804 in the app.

Luís Goes Pinheiro defended that, in circumstances where contact with the patient cannot be dispensed with, this contact can be made at distance, “not only facilitating the patient’s life, but also speeding up and creating conditions, even in the context of this pandemic, so that contact in person in these cases are made only if necessary”.
