More than ten foreign teams confirmed for Tour of Tachira More than ten foreign teams confirmed for Tour of Tachira Caracas, (Prensa Latina) Over ten foreign teams, in addition to local cyclists, are confirmed for the 56th edition of the Cycling Tour of Tachira, in Venezuela, to take place between January 17 and 24. According to the Organizing Committee, the Venezuelan competition will be attended by Italy s Bardiani and Androni Giocattoli; Colombia s Orgullo Paisa and Team Medellin; Ecuador s Toscana; and teams from Panama, Ecuador, Guatemala and Russia. The tour, considered one of the main races in the American continent, will be characterized by strong biosecurity protocols according to the provisons established by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Union Cycliste Internationale, after the global impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
