A popular beer and cider festival is planning to return later this year after being forced to be cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic last year. The Tynedale Beer & Cider Festival is one of the most anticipated events in the region’s calendar, with it’s return scheduled for the first weekend in September in a bid for the event take place after the end of the restrictions caused by the coronavirus crisis. “We are delighted to be able to schedule The Tynedale Beer & Cider Festival for later on this year,” said Ian Cave, Chair of the Tynedale Beer & Cider Festival committee.
From April 16
Among those already scheduled to attend are Christophe s Crepes from Norwich, Nanny Bill s Burgers from London, Fat Ted s Streat Food from Sheringham and the Cheese Wheel from London.

The Spring Drive-in Movies

Following sell-out events last year, drive-in movies are returning to the Showground this spring with the films to be confirmed and polls are currently running on its Facebook event.
There will be a variety of street food stalls, offering nachos, burgers, pizza and more alongside cinema snacks such as sweets and popcorn.

A popular festival in the North East is set to return in September following a one-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. The annual Tynedale beer and cider festival has been a regular attraction to residents around the region and in 2021 will take place between Friday September 3 and Sunday September 5. The Corbrdige-based event has moved from its traditional May date following the government’s announcement on Monday regarding how the country plans to leave lockdown over the coming months. Writing on Facebook in a statement, the organisers of the event said: “Hell YES, we are BACK!” “Following the Government Covid-19 Statement on Monday, we are pleased to announce that our 2021 Tynedale Beer & Cider Festival will now be held over the first weekend in September.

A popular food festival combining two of the nation s favourite things is heading to Norwich for the first time this summer.
The Sausage and Cider Festival is coming to the city on Saturday, June 5 and will take place outdoors at a venue yet to be confirmed from 12pm to 11pm, with afternoon and evening slots.
There will be more than 25 craft ciders to try, with customers able to purchase drinks tokens, and 15 different flavours of sausage to choose from.
The event will also boast a gin bar, host garden games and have live music and a DJ.
