Unprecedented need, plenty and opportunity

It’s Christmas Eve. Do you have beautifully wrapped gifts under your tree, a turkey roasting in the oven with all the fixings and pie, and a parlor game or two in mind? INL’s annual United Way employee giving campaign achieved its highest mark yet, raising over $630,000 for local United Ways in Eastern and Southeast Idaho, beating their goal by going $80,000 over last year’s record-breaking campaign. “I couldn’t be prouder of our INL team,” said Ron Crone, INL associate laboratory director for the Materials and Fuels Complex. “In a year of adversity, we rose to the challenge and provided for those most impacted by housing and food insecurity in our community.”
