D1 Training in Asheville, North Carolina held an awesome collaborative event to give back to the first responders in their community.
As part of
National EMS week, which runs May 16-22, D1 Training partnered with Veterans Services of Carolinas to give away hundreds of pairs of shoes to show local first responders and essential workers gratitude after a long year due to the pandemic. Aside from being an essential worker, the only requirement to receive a pair of shoes was to write a personal letter to one of more than 400 veterans isolated in veteran homes across North Carolina.
