British quartet selected for European Championships

Published: 25th May 2021 A four-strong British team has been named for the European Triathlon Super and Relay Championships in Kitzbuhel, Austria from 18 – 20 June. Sophie Coldwell and Gordon Benson lead out the teams having achieved top ten finishes at the World Triathlon Championship Series Yokohama and World Triathlon Cup Lisbon respectively. Coldwell was the top British female finisher in Japan in the first World Triathlon Championship Series race of the season when she finished in sixth place. Benson secured a sixth-place finish in Lisbon in his first race of the season taking on the likes of Kristian Blummenfelt (NOR) and Jonas Schomburg (GER) throughout the race.
