Source: Socialist Republic of Vietnam On May 6, the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (under the Ministry of Industry and Trade) announced that the Indian Ministry of Finance has issued a decision not to impose anti-dumping tax on some artificial staple fibre products made or imported from China, Indonesia and Vietnam. Previously, on December 30, 2020, the Directorate General of Trade Remedies under the Indian Minister Commerce and Industry had issued the final investigation conclusion No. 6/41/2019-DGTR which proposed that the Ministry of Finance of India impose taxes of US$0.25-0.8 per kg on the products under investigation. For products from Vietnam, the proposed anti-dumping duty was US$0.41 per kg.

Among the 56 local cases, 16 were at the second facility of the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Hanoi, 12 in the northern province of Bac Ninh, 11 in the northern province of Vinh Phuc, four in Hanoi, 3 in the central city of Da Nang. The national tally has reached 3,090, with 1,690 local cases. In the latest wave of outbreaks from April 27, 120 cases have been detected.
