Srinagar: In a major success for the security forces in Valley, the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday informed that Al-Badre Chief Ganie Khwaja was killed in an encounter in the Tujjar area of Sopore. A search operation is still underway. Sopore police killed Al-Badre Chief Ganie Khwaja in an encounter just now. A big success, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said.
The security forces have also recovered incriminating materials including arms and ammunition from the terrorist. A search operation is underway, the police said.
