A 28-year-old man, who was on the run since January, has been arrested for credit card fraud.
The man, Vusi Lukhele, was apprehended on Saturday at the Beitbridge border in Musina, Limpopo.
Hawks spokesperson Zinzi Hani said his arrest related to alleged credit card fraud that was committed at Outdoor Warehouse at Somerset Mall in Somerset West in October 2020.
Lukhele was initially arrested on 8 October 2020.

He appeared in a local court where the matter was postponed.
However, he failed to appear on the next court date and the court issued a warrant for his arrest on 19 January.

Cape Town â A 31-year-old man was released on a warning after being arrested over the death of a 21-year-old woman in Somerset West.
Jonathan Coetzee was allegedly drunk when he knocked down Chandre Visser with the Silver Toyota Fortuner he was driving on Saturday just after 11pm. Visser was with a friend in Victoria Road in Somerset West.
Coetzee fled the scene but witness Bjorn Henri chased after the driver and managed to stop him in Macassar, about 10km from the scene.
âShe flew about 80m and landed badly on the ground,â said Henri. âI was with my family and I noticed that the driver did not stop, so I chased after him.â

Couple arrested for possession of illegal gun and stolen car

Cape Town - Police arrested a 28-year-old woman and her partner for the possession of a firearm and ammunition, only to discover that the vehicle the two were in was a stolen Mercedes-Benz, snatched from a house in Camps Bay earlier this month.
Police spokesperson Andre Traut said: “Two suspects are scheduled to appear in the Somerset West Magistrate’s Court once charged. The suspects, a man and a woman, were apprehended by the Western Cape Flying Squad, while driving from Somerset West on the N2, when members on patrol spotted the car the pair was travelling in, a silver Mercedes Benz.
