Three Razorback wins highlight final day of Hayward Premiere

April 3, 2021 EUGENE, Ore. – Three Arkansas victories and three runner-up efforts highlighted the second day of the Hayward Premiere as the University of Oregon opened its reimagined Hayward Field this weekend. One of the three wins for the Hogs on Saturday also included a historical note as James Milholen claimed the 400m from lane 9, becoming the first person to win a race at Hayward Field from that lane now that the new configuration of the track includes nine lanes. Milholen clocked a career best of 46.75 to better the field and improve upon his previous best of 47.07. Finishing runner-up in 47.37 was Oregon’s Jacoby McNamara.

Shawn Price March 12, 2021 FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas produced a pair of sixth place efforts on the second day of the NCAA Indoor Championships while three Razorbacks advanced to Saturday finals during qualifying prelims inside Randal Tyson Track Center. Through seven scored finals, LSU and Georgia are currently tied with 20 points each, followed by Florida State (17), USC (16), North Dakota State (15) and Oregon (13). In qualifying for Saturday finals, the Ducks lead with five while three schools followed with four each for LSU, Florida and North Carolina A&T. Arkansas currently has six points and is tied for 16 th place. The distance medley relay posted a time of 9:33.65 to place sixth and earn three points for Arkansas. The foursome included Reese Walters (2:58.61), James Milholen (45.85), Jadon Bartholomew (1:49.98) and Andrew Kibet (3:59.21).

Phillip Lemonious claims hurdles in Razorback debut

Shawn Price February 5, 2021 FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – An impressive Razorback debut in the 60m hurdles by Phillip Lemonious resulted in a victory with a time of 7.79 seconds, which is equal to the fifth fastest time in Arkansas history. Three additional Hog wins among solid performances in the Randal Tyson Track Center produced a team victory at the Arkansas Qualifier on Friday. “Phillip was finally able to go out there and in his first race, even with all the other hectic things going on, get a win and put a nice time up,” said Arkansas men’s head coach Chris Bucknam. “He’s happy to wear the uniform.
